Certificate Distribution Program to 75 UPSDM Trainees on 15th Dec 2015 at Kamla Nagar Kanpur

On entering into 5th years of operation, The Certificate Distribution program to UPSDM (Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission) Trainees was organized by JK Centre for Technician Training Kanpur on 15th December 2015 at a glittering ceremony at Kamla Nagar, Kanpur.

The Program was chaired by chief Guest Shri Mohd Iftikharuddin, IAS, Commissioner, Kanpur Division, shri Sunil Vaish (MD Falcon Industries Ltd & Vice President IIA), Shri lalit Khanna (Head of operations JKCTT) & Shri Md. Umar (Dy, Director, Kanpur productivity council).
Shri Lalit Khanna informed that JK Centre for Technician Training was started in 2011 with two trades Electrician & Fitter in just two rooms. At present the Institute is imparting training in Electrician, Fitter, welder & Electronics. The Centre is a training partner for Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM), PMKVY (Pradhan Mantri Kaushal vikash Yojna), IIW-India (Indian Institute of Welding Kolkata) and IIT-Kanpur as education partner. Expended vastly in three campuses with an addition of one more ITI AT DADA NAGAR KANPUR. .It is a centre of Excellence Training Institute working in line with the objective of Skill India as pronounced by our Honorable PM of the Country. We are further adding up with the trades of solar, setup boxes, retail and security guards.

The chief guest distributed certificate to 75 trainees trained by the Institute under UPSDM. 05 employed past trainees of UPSDM from our institute in different trades namely Ankush Kumar Chaubey, Awadhesh Kumar, Devendra Singh Kushwaha, Mulayam Singh Yadav & Sonu Gupta shared their experiences with the other trainees & all the esteemed guests how their life has changed after successful completion of training and getting employed.

Honorable Commissioner, Kanpur Division addressed all the 215 trainees present in the presentation hall with his views & appreciated the quality of training provided by the Institute.

Shri Ashutosh Tiwari informed that The Institute has a current strength of 350 per batch & it’s next target is to train 500 per batch in the year 2015 -16 we have a target to train approx 1200. Students in various disciplines.

The Program was also attended by Mr. A. K. Pandey (Principal, JKITC), Mr. Ashutosh Tiwari (Manger JKCT), Mr. R.P. Tomar (Corporate HR JK Cement Ltd), Mr. Sandeep (MIS Manager UPSDM Kanpur) other Industry representatives of kanpur & all the team members of JKCT.
